Task: Walkabout photography

I often walk about and take pictures, that’s what we street photogs do. This time, it was slightly different. Best described in the task text.

DESCRIPTION
Being out for a walk with a camera on your shoulder is a wonderful time, and right outside the door there are plenty of things that others just walk past. Garbage, signs, or a dirty shop window can be incredibly beautiful if the photographer is on board.
Gunnar Smoliansky coined the expression Walking pictures and was a master at finding exciting pictures in all their simplicity, now let’s see what you can find along the roads, out in town
or why not in the forest?
METHOD
Free, but no people may be seen in the picture this time. No pixel manipulation (removing
things) should occur, but other adjustments in contrast/exposure etc. are completely ok.

Another task condition was that the image should be in black and white… Here a collection of photos that I made over the course of two weeks. Some of them are taken in Stockholm. A couple are older.

As I said, the task asked for monochrome images. In the end, I chose to submit the bnw version of this picture.
