Night and day in Copenhagen

A couple of weeks back it was J day in Denmark. Its the first Friday in November, when brewery giant Tuborg releases this year’s Christmas beer.

This year I had also bought a brand new small flash for my R5. Mostly intended for daytime photography, but of course also work when it’s dark. Anyway, when spend a full Friday evening and night in the mathem of beer celebrations. And the day after I also made som daylight (mostly train station) photos. Hope you enjoy. The Friday and early Saturday pics first…

And then some photos I made Saturday morning, before going home again.

A Belgian second

Went to Antwerpen this summer, the second city of Belgium. Always fun to explore a new city (We also went to three other cities in northern Europe – more on that later). We mostly wandered about in the old city. More life, more people. All and all, a fun experience. Especially the short glimpse of the queen. But that’s another story… :).

Took quite a few photographs, though I only made out a 100. Some of them turned out to be better in monochrome…

When it rains in Paris.

Recently came back after a week of street photography in Paris, France. Fun week, with friends, good food and drinks and lots of images. And… not so much summer weather. It actually rained quite a bit. But, as a street photographer, I just happily took a few photos.

These I took mostly on “rive gauche”, the south river bank of Seine a very different day. I think we had at least two thunderstorms pass and wind and sun. All mixed upp. Yes, we also had two rounds of hail…

So when you are under bridges, trying to stay dry and you’re a kid? Let’s have some fun with water.
