Last december 2014 I was walking downtown Gothenburg, just browsing for interesting people. Suddenly i heard the squeaking sound of an old tram approaching. There was time for one quick shot.

Time is change.
My Project Time is change (#TIC)is slowly picking up speed. Now there’s a page in my portfolio/project section on this site, where you can check it out. #TIC is at the moment (sic) what broods my mind the most, so I’ll soon update with more pics.

It’s kind of strange, how you can fall in love with a pic afterwards (in processing), even if you at the photo-moment didn’t think of is as something special.

Walking the Plank.
This Saturday, me and a lot other photographers participate in a makeshift exhibition at Planket in Gothenburg. Everyone get a metre (1,1 yard) and what you do with it is up to you.
I’ll go hardcore. I’ll laminate my 10-12 pics and nail them to wooden boards, just for fun (and for the possibility of rain).

I love people, I really do. That might also be one of the main reasons why I like street photography so much. People and their everyday business are extraordinary.

On the train to Gothenburg, as I was prepping my camera, I couldn’t resist taking a picture of this girl.
She was doing the exact same thing as so many other do on a train – looking out the window.
Towards… something.
Sometimes you just see people aiming at something you can’t see yourself. But their faces are magic.

“Where do I look?”, she asked slightly worried.
I’d just stepped up to her and asked nicely if I could take a portrait. I worked out well, I think.
Screening people
I’ve said it before and I’ll probably say it again. This bit with smartphones is to a street photographer both irritating and nice.
It’s easier to take a pic as people don’t see you immediately and also the blueish light from the screens help to light up their faces. But. It’s getting harder to get that magic look straight into my camera these days…
