Faces in Stockholm.
Imagination out of the ordinary
Six weeks ago I was in Stockholm, where there were many opportunities for street photography. Here three ladies that I met during “Photowalk Stockholm”.
That Amsterdam weekend in April offered the best spring weather. And pubs and bars were full with people. Late, late night you could still find people everywhere – sometimes out for fresh air, sometimes for a cigarette. This pic is taken in the middle of the night somewhere in the Red Light District.

Street photography isn’t that hard. And especially never as hard as many seem to think. And the true benefit is meeting all nice and beautiful people. As the pair I show you here. I took some portraits of hr, mainly because I really liked her necklace. But they were happy and easygoing. And really liked what I was doing.

Sometimes you really like an image, no matter how technically imperfect it might be. This is certainly one of those, taken with my at the time brand new Fujifilm x100t. Seeing this, I remember that lukewarm night, efter being walking about for maaaany hours. Normally, the streets of Amsterdam are full or at least semi full with cyclists. This late, not so much.

A couple of months ago I attended an event in the small town I grew up in. Main bill was a free concert, that attracted lots of young people – mainly women and girls. I most of the time do black and whites, but this evening had a colorful glow to it.
This passed weekend No Limit street art festival was held in Borås, Sweden. Slightly foul weather, but the the long lasting result…
Second time around, this street art manifestation is quite special to Sweden, with all its grand murals and more – all world class street art.
Here in front of Logan Hicks new piece, suddenly one of the spectators just blended in.
