People of Gothenburg.

My hometown. Where I live. The loveable city I always return to. And often walk the streets of.

Many days has passed, since I travelled abroad. Pandemic and more has forced us to stay home. To dig where we sit. And to explore the closest surroundings. Here a few pictures from my walks in the last year or so.

Pandemic spring.

Really haven’t been out much, taking photos, this year. Only four-five occasions during April and May. In part because the lack of fun during the pandemic, but in part also because there really hasn’t been that many people out to take pictures of. Well, enough of excuses. Here are a few on the yield for the “Pandemic spring”. All these street photographs are taken in Gothenburg

Slow and distant walk.

What do you do, when you’re supposed to stay away from people. Well, you can still take pictures of them – as they stay away…

All taken in Gothenburg, end of May.

Exhibition time.

Starting this Sunday, my street photographs will be seen at Crippas Café and bar in Gothenburg, Sweden. For three weeks you can see some 25+ images, taken in several larger European cities.

The grand opening is at 4 pm, Sunday March 15. You are welcome to come and see and talk about the photos, as I’ll be there until 8 pm. Hope you can make it.

Here a few of the photos you can see at Crippas.

In the city of love.

A few of my Paris images from May. People are the best, wouldn’t you agree?

More of my Paris images here.

Dancing in the streets.

Once a year the “Andra Långgatan” in Gothenburg turn into a hot, loud and quite vivid street scene. Dancing, you might call it. #heladagenlång , meaning “all day long”. But it feels as a late nite rave party, more than anything else…

When it rains in Paris.

Recently came back after a week of street photography in Paris, France. Fun week, with friends, good food and drinks and lots of images. And… not so much summer weather. It actually rained quite a bit. But, as a street photographer, I just happily took a few photos.

These I took mostly on “rive gauche”, the south river bank of Seine a very different day. I think we had at least two thunderstorms pass and wind and sun. All mixed upp. Yes, we also had two rounds of hail…

So when you are under bridges, trying to stay dry and you’re a kid? Let’s have some fun with water.
