Met them as I was about to cross the street, them waiting for the right traffic signal. Personally, I’m quite fond of the coherence, in for example the colours.

Those eyes.
Met her at Covent Garden market in London last April. She was a vendor of her own, beautifully crafted mirrors. The light coming from low right is from the mirror she was hanging, just as she saw me taking this picture.
I just love the gentle look in her eyes.
Growing out of shadows.
Always keep your eyes peeled. Him waiting for someone shopping, at least got my fantasy into overdrive…
Be prepared.

Lending a hand.
One of them had a slight limpy walk (see her crutches?), but that didn’t stop her from talking fervently on the mobile. That’s what friends are for?

A short break, inhaling, thinking. Smoking isn’t very good for your health, but is sure looks contemplative from time to time.

Just couldn’t resist taking this pic, on the commuter bus. The tranquillity in her face says it all, right?

He was on a break and I saw him from quite a distance. As I approached him he saw me just a little bit earlier than I really would have wanted. Therefor the suspicious look.
But still – great eyes.
Redo is part of it.
When I started to do Street photography more thoroughly I had to relearn a big deal about photography. Especially about closing in and daring. This pic from February 2013 also has shown me, that I’ve learned a lot about post photography, using Photoshop. Because this old pic has evolved quite a bit since last I published it. See below for how it first turned out.
And, this is also a good reason why you don’t throw away or forget old pics. They just might surprise you later on…
