These birds know when to get going…
Projection works.
It’s a “trick” at the theatre, for supporting actors to pose turned to and look at where the important action is. And it’s called projection because the idea is to make the spectators look “right”. And you can really use it in Street Photography too.
But what are they looking at?
On repeat.
Sometimes when you have your eyes peeled you get lucky.
Not only a nice motif, but they didn’t see me at all so I had plenty of time to get several shots – shifting focus between the mobile and there faces. I liked this one best.
Kids are.
What can I say? The kids very often are the very best motifs.
An open face.
One of the reasons I like street photography so much is the non posing and natural faces. When the everyday joy or pain shows. Shows that we all are human.

I often care to look inside, into others doings as they expose themselves in windows. Love, work and coffee are the main themes.
And if you look carefully, you can also see the photographer ;).
Coloured black and white.
One of the mains discussions among street photographers is whether what you let other see should be only b/w or sometimes in colour. A discussion I feel is slightly ridiculous. A picture is good if its good, n’est pas?
This one is to mock that a bit. Her lovely all black and white umbrella works best in colour, wouldn’t you say?
