Winemaking is hard work. At Wine Mechanics in Gothenburg (the only urban winery in the Nordics) I walked about for a day. As volunteers and employees turned grapes into grape juice.
I’ve been voluteering at Wine Mechanics for several years now, mainly with the bottling stage. In the autumn its more about handling the grapes than putting the wine into bottles. In a way a harder, more tedious work. But still fun as there’s is lots of camaraderie to it.
So here, from destemming, to pressing and also the cleanup of the baskets the grapes are transported in. And thanks all, Kenneth, Henrick, Erik, Ambre and everyone else for having my there.

I also took lots of portraits this day. Here are some of them. All taken the very same day.
